Supporting a Major Midlands Venue with Scalable Coffee Solutions.

The Challenge

CBS Arena Coventry is a large, multi-purpose venue hosting football match days, conferences, exhibitions, and major live concerts. Each setting places different demands on coffee service — from fast-paced kiosks on match days to hospitality lounges and conference spaces.

The arena required a coffee partner that could:

• Support high-volume service across a large site

• Deliver consistent quality during peak periods

• Provide flexible coffee solutions that could move between spaces as required

• Operate reliably across both regular events and one-off large-scale concerts

• Offer hands-on support during the busiest events

The Solution

Coventry Coffee Company partnered with CBS Arena Coventry to deliver a flexible, venue-wide coffee solution designed to adapt to a busy and varied events calendar.

We installed 20 coffee machines throughout the arena, strategically placed to support different service styles and event types. Of these, 11 machines were mounted on mobile trolleys and fitted with water pumps, allowing them to be easily relocated between events and areas without the need for fixed plumbing.

Machines are positioned across key areas, including:

• Match-day kiosks, where speed and ease of use are essential

• Ricoh Hospitality Lounge, supporting premium guest experiences

• Conference and event spaces, catering for delegates and corporate clients

To support kiosk operations, we also supply single-use hot chocolate sachets, enabling fast, efficient service during high-footfall periods.

Beyond installation and supply, Coventry Coffee Company provides ongoing technical and operational support to ensure machines perform consistently across all events.

Supporting Major Events

In December, Coventry Coffee Company recently supported CBS Arena Coventry during the Ed Sheeran concert, one of the venue’s busiest events of the year.

As well as supplying and running our machines, we were on-site to provide hands-on operational support, helping the arena team manage the increased demand and maintain smooth service throughout the event.

This practical, responsive support ensured visitors continued to receive hot drinks quickly and consistently, even during peak periods.
